Melissa’s words:
Melissa has contributed to the annual tourism publication, Experience
St. Maarten in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 covering topics such as art,
beaches, water sports, island hopping and nightlife. Melissa wrote the
Nightbeat section of St. Maarten Nights in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Her work was also featured in the Miami Herald and St. Maarten’s
Daily Herald.
Melissa collaborated with Paris-based, Oceana Magazine in 2002. Melissa
joined Oceana’s team in Bolivia where she served as a guest judge
for the Miss Bolivia 2002 contest and visited Bolivia’s incredible
cultural sites. (See below). She also covered local artists, St. Maarten’s
Rasta movement and Dominica’s reggae music for Oceana.
In 2005, Melissa contributed to Nikki Style Magazine, to be published
late February…
